Lieutenant Colonel Rob Shaw

After serving as an Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division and following graduation from the United States Military Academy Preparatory School, LTC Rob Shaw graduated from the United States Military Academy in May 1999 and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer. LTC Shaw served in a variety of assignments ranging from Platoon Leader to Battalion Executive Officer, and he deployed numerous times to Iraq and Afghanistan. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (with three oak leaf clusters), Meritorious Service Medal (with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Purple Heart, Master Parachutist Badge, Ranger Tab, and the Combat Infantryman Badge. LTC Shaw graduated from the Masters in Public Policy program at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and he is the Aide to Camp to the Chief of Staff of the Army. He is married with two children.
