Dan Coleman recently retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigations after 31 years of service. During his career as a counterintelligence and counterterrorism investigator, Dan worked on the New York Field Office Joint Terrorism Task Force and was detailed to the Central Intelligence Agency to assist in pursuing Usama Bin Laden. Dan’s pursuit of al-Qa’ida involved him in cases that led to the procurement of evidence proving al-Qa’ida involvement in Somalia in 1993, investigation and trial of Usama bin Laden and al-Qa’ida for their twin attacks on U.S. Embassies in 1998, investigation of the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in 2000, and investigation of the al-Qa’ida attacks of September 11th.
