Dr. Jarret Brachman

Jarret Brachman is the Director of Research in the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point.  He specializes in Jihadist ideology, strategy and propaganda.  Jarret has spoken on those topics before the British House of Lords, the U.S. Congress and he regularly consults with federal, state and local law enforcement on issues related to terrorism and al-Qa`ida. His research has been profiled on a variety of international television and print media, including 60 Minutes, al-Jazeera and the New York Times. He earned his PhD from the University of Delaware and served as a Fellow with the Central Intelligence Agency before coming to West Point.  His book, Global Jihadism: Theory and Practice, is forthcoming with Routledge Press.  Jarret lives with his wife and two children in New York.
